Tools that make learning personal and hands-on
From one-on-one tutoring to robotics kits and big-data analytics, every iSpace product is designed to help students understand, build and create.
We teach
Playmath & Virtual Tutor (VT)
Individualized, one-on-one online tutoring for K-12 students.
Every student learns differently. Our online tutoring pairs each learner with a certified teacher or paraprofessional who adapts the pace and approach to that student — building confidence as well as skills.
- One-on-one sessions, delivered online
- Mathematics, Science and English Language Arts
- Two programs: Playmath and Virtual Tutor (VT)
- Animated learning tools and game-based rewards keep students engaged
Who it’s for
- Students who need extra support
- Students ready to move ahead
- Schools seeking supplemental tutoring
- Families who want flexible, at-home learning
We develop
RILE — Robotic Interactive Learning Environment
A robotics platform for teaching physics, with an online textbook.
RILE turns abstract physics concepts into experiments students can see and control. Learners program robots to run physics experiments, then connect what they observe to the theory in the accompanying online textbook.
- Robotics-based physics experiments
- Integrated online textbook
- Developed with the University of West Florida
- Version 2 released in Fall 2014
Robotics kit
PicoBot
A robotics kit for learning programming and hardware.
With PicoBot, every student gets their own kit. They assemble the hardware, design and personalize their robot, then bring it to life with code — sent wirelessly over Wi-Fi.
- Individual kits for every student
- Students assemble the hardware themselves
- Design and individualize their own bot
- Program the robot over Wi-Fi
We innovate
IADA — Interactive Data Analytics
Big-data analytics for “citizen data scientists”.
IADA-BD is an interactive tool that lets people without a data-science background explore and model large data sets. Developed as a joint venture with the University of West Florida, it is aimed first at predictive health care analysis.
The proof of concept covers:
- Aggregate functions
- Linear regression
- Random forest classification
- Clustering
Hands-on tech center
